Almost Done!

Today has been my last day of work!
It's been pretty awesome. I made cupcakes and brought them in for everyone. Then we got pizza for lunch and right after that, Sam brought me a cherry icee! Dang, so many yummy things!

I got to play with Trish (the boss)'s grand daughter and wrapped some birthday presents for Scott (Whose birthday is coming up so quickly!). Basically, I've done nothing productive and have loved every second of it!

Cody's doing a good job of learning my job. The ladies at work love him and are proud of him for catching on so quickly. He'll do a good job when I'm gone. I know he'll make me proud.

Well, my last day of work in the flower shop is almost over. I'm sad to say good bye to some of the people, but at the same time, I'm more than ready to move on to bigger and (hopefully) better things. It's been real, England Florist. But it's my time to peace out.

Comic Relief

Well, I was going through my phone and deleting some old pictures and decided to enlighten you with some cute and/or funny pictures. Enjoy!

Sophers the wonder cat came to work with me and played in the flowers all day.

Mike was the most stylish hula dancer at my party! Gotta love the coconut bra!

My birthday present from Mike was new head covers for my golf clubs. Nemo! yay!

A Sign of Kindness

The sign outside of my work. Such nice coworkers! :) I'm sad to leave such great people behind.

4 More Days!

4 more days. That's it. Just 4.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Living in Tallahassee for the past 4 years has been great. I've met a lot of new people and had a lot of fun. I am, however, ready to move back to SoFla. I'm ready to live close to the beach and more importantly, close to la madre Cox (and Brandi too!)

Today is my third-to-last day of work. My last day is Thursday and I can't wait. Though, I'm kind of awkward with goodbyes. I feel like it's unnecessary to get emotional and sad that you'll never see people again. That may sound harsh, but I think that if someone really means a lot to you, then you'll make an effort to keep in touch with them. And, if they don't mean that much, they'll just fade into the history of people you've met and enjoyed the company of. No big deal. You'll meet tons of people in your life time and it'll be impossible to keep up with all of them. So, if they're not that important, might as well say goodbye and send them a Christmas card every year.

The people at my work changed the sign outside to say "Tiffany, We'll Miss You!" It's very sweet of them. It actually made me tear up when I saw it the first time. I know that I do a lot of work at the shop, but I never really realized that they actually cared about me as a person. Well, that's not true. I did. But I guess I never really thought about it.

So, we're enjoying the last couple of days we have in Tallahassee. Mike and I are having dinner with Scott and Sam tonight. Ribs, I think. It should be yummy! I'm really going to miss hanging out with them when we move. Its always so convenient to live with your friends because they're a constant source of entertainment and companionship. At the same time though, I can not wait to live without roommates (besides Mike, of course). 4 years of roommate drama have taken their toll on me and I'm done with it. No more. Except for Momma Cox for a little bit (because she loves us!).

Well, I'd better get back to work. Larry's out of town today because his son is getting deported. It's really sad because you can tell that Larry really loves his son. So, if I were any kind of religious, I'd be praying for him. I told Larry that we're all proud of his boy and that he's going to come home. I hope I'm right.

OK, I'm off to be a delivery driver today. Should be fun. Toodles!

Attempt Number 1

I've never done any kind of blogging before, so bare with me.
Kelly (mi hermanita) has created a blog and has consequently inspired me to follow suit. Really, the purpose of this whole thing is to keep Kelly in the loop while she's in Chile. However, I will be starting my first semester of graduate school at FAU this fall so this may turn out to be a slightly entertaining blog.

So, I'm going to grad school. As of right now, my major is Elementary Education with ESOL certification. However, it may change once I start. I've been thinking a lot about it and I think Kelly's inspired me to continue my Spanish education. I feel like it'll be good to have the knowledge of the language, but also the certification to teach it. I mean, while living in South Florida, it's pretty much become essential to be bilingual. So, maybe I'll be able to add a Spanish minor/certification onto my degree.

I can't wait to start school! I feel like the reason why I'm going into education is because I just love being in school. I like the thrill of the first day of school, new school supplies, clean notebooks, exciting new people and new things to learn. Who knows? I may just have to go to Doctoral school just for the sake of staying in school longer. Ha! Wouldn't that be something? A doctoral degree? wow. Maybe someday, but right now its time to focus on a masters.
So, for now, all I have to say is....           GO OWLS!
