Today, I had a fun kind of mini adventure.
I set out this morning to get my diploma framed. I went to Kinkos and made a copy of it first so that I'd have a copy on file if I ever needed it. The color copy that I made only cost $1.89! Plus, it's a perfect copy of it. It's really nice. I am genuinely impressed with the quality of the copy.
Then, after Kinkos, I went to Michael's to see about custom framing. I was all excited because I had a 50% off coupon and thought it was going to be a great deal. However, it's not. Not in the slightest bit. Actually, it's quite a rip-off. They act all nice and friendly and show you every option, but really, they're just salesmen for overpriced, mediocre products. All I wanted was a basic frame with a single matte and they wanted to charge me $230!!!! And that's AFTER the 50% off coupon! I was stunned. Genuinely shocked at how they could charge that to frame a piece of paper. wow. So, I talked to the lady a little longer and they said they couldn't do it for less than $130. I left her counter and walked down the isle, found a frame i liked for $35.00 (I think it's prettier than the one she was trying to sell me) and went up to checkout. Lucky me, planning ahead, I printed off a 40% off any one item coupon that morning, so, I got my diploma frame for 40% off of $35! Yeah, baller status. Take that crazy lady charging crack prices for framing. NO THANK YOU!
So, My diploma looks sweet. I took a picture of it with my phone so it's not the best quality picture in the world but, you get the message. Pretty nice, eh? It looks pretty fancy shmancy. So now I'm off to go oggle my new classy diploma.

your frame is pretty hawt if yanno what i mean ;)
